George Sisneros buried Saturday

at Saint Joseph's

     SANTA ROSA--George Sisneros was buried Saturday afternoon at Saint Josephs Cemetery in Santa Rosa.

     Funeral Mass was celebrated Saturday morning from Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Clovis with the Reverend Sotero A. Sena officiating.

     He died on Tuesday of last week, February 4, 2003, at the Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.

     Rosary services were recited last Friday evening from Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Clovis.

     He was born May 6, 1937 to Jose and Agneda Baca Sisneros in Sombrio.

     He served in the United States Army from 1960 to 1962.

     He married Sandra Garcia on June 24, 1967 and they moved to Clovis in 1975 where he worked as a custodian for the Clovis Municipal Schools for 22 years.

     He was a member of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Clovis.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Agneda Baca Sisneros; one brother and one sister.

     He is survived by three daughters, Patricia Sisneros of Clovis and Peggy and Victoria Sisneros of Albuquerque; three brothers, Reyes Sisneros of Colorado, Julio Sisneros of Grands and Amadeo Sisneros of El Paso, Texas; one sister, Florlinda Ulibarri of Clovis; one grandson, Anastacio Sisneros of Clovis and three granddaughters, Christine Ramirez and Elizabeth Ramirez of Albuquerque and Alyssa Handcock of Clovis.

     Pallbearers were Anastacio Sisneros, Reyes Sisneros, Larry Joe Sisneros, Perry Handcock, Benny Ulibarri and Michael Ulibarri.
